Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tarbes, University of Technology of Tarbes (UTTOP)
Located in Tarbes, in the Hautes-Pyrénées, the University of Technology of Tarbes (UTTOP), created in 2023, brings together the National School of Engineering of Tarbes (ENIT, more than 60 years old) and the Institute of Technology of Tarbes (IUT, more than 30 years old).
The EPS program was implemented within ENIT’s training offer due to its strong ties with the local industry that is always in search for innovation and new challenges. Internships, industrial projects, and final-year projects, which are included in the curriculum, provide the opportunity to spend long periods of time working with industry. ENIT produces multi-skilled engineers who, due to their broad training experience, can work in any field of engineering and in any industry.
ENIT is located in the medium-sized town of Tarbes in the south of France. Tarbes is a gateway to the Pyrenees mountain range which is a gorgeous natural border between France and Spain. There are attractive views of the snow-capped mountains from the town and the first Pyrenean ski resorts are about half an hour drive from Tarbes.
